Trish Parkhill, Creative Director
Trish Parkhill isn’t just the creative director at MarketSpace Communications — she’s the agency superstar, cheerleader, mentor, counselor and mother. You’ll often catch her sprinting around the office, tackling all projects under the MarketSpace creative umbrella. Her boisterous laugh can be heard from the other side of the building and her energy and enthusiasm exceeds expectations of both colleagues and clients daily. Trish is a must-have we can’t live without, and here’s why.
After graduating from Penn State University with a degree in advertising, Trish made the decision to launch her career in New York City with a goal of submerging herself in the no-sugar-coating-it world of brand creation. She wanted to be the best of the best — to learn how to create brilliant brands. In New York, Trish soaked up a downpour of experience in the creative and broadcast production departments at a renowned international ad agency. As if this wasn’t quite enough, she also supplemented her education with campaign courses at the Adhouse and the School of Visual Arts.
Luckily for us, this experience confirmed what Trish was born to do. A year or so after entering the City, Trish was granted the opportunity to skyrocket her career while reconnecting with her Pittsburgh roots. She was offered a role as a copywriter at MARC USA, one of Pittsburgh’s largest creative agencies. For nearly 10 years, Trish honed her copywriting skills and transformed into a master wordsmith. She also became an all-around brand connoisseur, inundated in the creation, maintenance and evolution of each brand ranging from Rite Aid, to the Pennsylvania Lottery, Cedar Point, Pittsburgh Zoo, The Make-A-Wish Foundation and plenty more.
In 2009, Trish came to MarketSpace to help foster the newer agency with all-embracing industry experience and brand-building know-how. Here, she oversees all of the agency’s creative endeavors in addition to concepting, writing, marketing and promotional planning. She also makes it her mission to touch each of the agency’s clients, including Children’s Community Pediatrics, Eaton Corporation, rue21 and McCain Foods to name a few.
It’s true that MarketSpace wouldn’t be MarketSpace without Trish Parkhill and it’s a fact we’re eagerly willing to admit. Not only do we love her, our clients adore her. Maybe it’s because she is the “MarketSpace Mom”, maybe it’s because her work parallels advertising’s greatest, or maybe it’s because she’s a super tsunami of creative genius. Whatever it is, Trish Parkhill is nothing short of mind-blowing. Neither is her work.
When beyond the MarketSpace earth-colored walls, Trish is surrounded by the other loves of her life — her three beautiful children Carson, Reese and Keenan, and her husband Brett.
